Forensic Science in Archeological Remains - The Bodies in the Well

This video takes a look at the use of forensic science to find the circumstances surrounding the death of seventeen people found at the bottom of a well in Norwich, England. A number of procedures are carried out including DNA analysis and carbon dating.

Infectious Disease - Rabies

Rabies is an infectious disease that can affect all mammals including humans. 100 000 people die of rabies every year. Once the symptoms begin, the disease is fatal. If a person is bitten by a suspected animal with rabies, they need to be vaccinated within the first 24 hours.
